A MAN who died in a crash on the A14 at Risby yesterday has been named by police.

Anthony Barbier, 48, from Wordsley, in the West Midlands, died after his white Mercedes Sprinter was in collision with a lorry, shortly before 9.45am, on the westbound carriageway of the road between the Westley and Saxham junctions.

The fire service and paramedics attended the scene along with police officers and the road was closed for six hours.

Mr Barbier was pronounced dead on the scene.
