A man in his 90s has died following a collision in Bury St Edmunds last week.

The crash, involving a car, a grey Ford Focus, and a red mobility scooter, took place on the A1302 Tayfen Road at around 3.25pm on Tuesday, January 15.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said; “An elderly man in his 90s who was driving the mobility scooter was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment but sadly died of his injuries on Monday January 21.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the collision with dash-cam footage should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police quoting CAD 211 of 15 January 2019.
