DETECTIVES refused to rule out last night the disappearance of two young prostitutes in Ipswich could be linked - saying they were “extremely” concerned for their safety.
A second police investigation was launched in the early hours of yesterday after Gemma Adams, 25, failed to return home after heading into the town to work as a prostitute.
Her disappearance comes less than three weeks after teenager Tania Nicol, who also worked as a prostitute, went missing.
Police admitted last night there were “obvious similarities” between the two disappearances and said they were extremely concerned for both girls' welfare.
