FIREFIGHTERS tackled a bin fire in the early hours of today.
The fire brigade were alerted shortly before 7am to a blaze outside Great Eastern Square in Hamilton Road in Felixstowe.
A crew from the town’s fire station discovered one waste bin alight.
They quickly tackled the flames, damping the area down with buckets of water.
The incident was under control by 7.13am.
