A weekend of festivities is being held by a Suffolk sailing club raising funds for volunteer lifesavers at sea.
Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club’s annual RNLI Music and Beer Festival runs from Friday-Sunday offering a “weekend for the whole family”.
The programme for the weekend includes live bands, a barbecue, tours of the lifeboat and opportunities to try sailing.
There will also be events and entertainment for children, stalls, racing and “the legendary duck race”.
A spokesman for the sailing club said the event was to help raise funds and awareness for the “brilliant work the RNLI does for us”.
“You need to be in treacherous water to fully appreciate the job these guys and girls do,” the spokesman added.
Events begin at 6pm on Friday, September 22, and continue from noon on both Saturday and Sunday.
