Firefighters in Felixstowe were called to an unusual emergency this morning – a dog which had got stuck on a roof.
The animal had found its way out onto the roof of a chalet bungalow in Priory Road, and then discovering how high up it was, the animal had froze – and was unable to move.
One fire crew from Felixstowe attended the incident at 9.26am with officers using a short extension ladder to reach the pet and bring him down to the ground.
The dog was safe with his owners again by 10.07am.
