Felixstowe man arrested for obstruction after wandering onto train tracks

British Transport Police attended the scene on Wednesday evening at a crossing in Trimley St Martin.
British Transport Police were called at 6.35pm to reports of a man on the train tracks at Gun Lane crossing, in Trimley St Martin, on Wednesday, 5 July.
A freight train had to conduct an emergency stop due to the incident.
Officers attended and arrested the man, who was seen on the tracks.
Officers arrested a 51-year-old man from Felixstowe on suspicion of malicious obstruction.
He is currently in police custody.
