A 61-year-old man has today been charged with committing 25 sexual offences, including four sexual assaults on a girl under 13.
Ian Durrands of Cage Lane, Felixstowe, was arrested in February on suspicion of offences and stalking before being released on police bail.
He has now been charged with one count of sexual assault on a girl under 13 by penetration, three counts of sexual assault on a girl under 13, nine counts of possessing an indecent photograph of a child and nine counts of making an indecent photograph of a child.
He was also charged with two counts of distributing an indecent photograph of a child and one count of doing an act which harmed a witness.
Durrands will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on June 26.
