POLICE are trying to trace a man following an incident involving two young girls in Felixstowe.

The man – described as white and aged in his late teens to early 20s – approached two girls playing in Runnacles Way at around 4pm on Thursday, June 21.

He is described as about 5ft 9ins, of medium build, with short dark hair and a tribal tattoo on his upper arm. He was wearing a black sleeveless top, black jeans and black boots and carrying a black and white motorcycle helmet and a black rucksack with white stripes.

An 11-year-old girl and her friend, who is of a similar age, were playing in bushes in Runnacles Way when they heard a motorcycle and the man approached them.

He made a comment to them that upset them and the girls fled. The incident was not reported until Friday, June 22.

There may be an innocent explanation for the incident, but police are keen to speak to the man involved and are asking him, or anyone with information about who he is, to come forward. Call Pc 1485 Hurrell at Felixstowe on 101 with information.
