A MAN who died after he entered the water at Felixstowe Ferry has today been named.
Adrian Airey, 59, of Combs near Stowmarket was winched by an RAF search and rescue helicopter when the alarm was raised on Sunday at about 6pm.
The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
An inquest into Mr Airey’s death was opened and adjourned today.
A police spokeswoman said inquiries regarding the circumstances surrounding the death are being carried out on behalf of the coroner, but there are no suspicious circumstances.
