Felixstowe: Three men arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary at Blyford Way, Felixstowe
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary after a woman suffered facial injuries at a house in Felixstowe.
Police said the incident happened at Blyford Way on the Orwell Green estate at about 3.50pm.
Officers were called to a report of a burglary in progress and found a woman at the address with injuries to her face. The offenders had left the scene in a car.
An hour later a suspcious car was observed at the petrol station just prior to the Orwell Bridge on the westbound carriageway of the A14.
The car was followed by police onto the A137 heading for Belstead with the police helicopter called in to help track the vehicle.
The car was later involved in a single-vehicle crash in Belstead.
One man was arrested at the scene and two other men were arrested nearby a short time later on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

The men – all from London – were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
