Organisers of Felixstowe’s fireworks spectacular are promising that it will be even bigger and better this year.

Preparations are well under way for the event – the 6th annual one – taking place at Felixstowe and Walton United FC’s Dellwood Avenue ground on Sunday, November 3.

Fundraising officer Chris Daynes said: “It has been our aim year-on-year to build on the previous year’s display and 2013 is no different as we have invested in the biggest and best firework spectacular to date, despite a large insurance premium cost hike.”

Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks, which will be set to music, will start at 7pm. Tickets are now on sale at the Cafe on the Corner on Hamilton Road, at the football club and via the Felixstowe Fireworks website.

Advance tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for children under 16 and £13 for a family ticket for two adults and two children. Children under five can get in free. Entry on the night will be £7 adults and £5 children.
