THREE men have been detained by police after a head-on collision between two cars.
The incident happened in High Road East in Felixstowe at 9.15pm when a blue Audi and a blue Ford Mondeo collided. It is alleged those in the Mondeo fled the scene.
Police say three men were later arrested after a search involving the force helicopter.
Meanwhile, a woman travelling in the Audi was taken to hospital suffering suspected spinal injuries.
Police say those in the Mondeo had returned to the scene to remove belongings before dragging their vehicle away from the site and dumping it in a nearby road.
Three men were arrested in Brook Lane.
Police say the wheels on the Audi came off during the collision and it has been written off.
