Fen Tigers look back on hectic Easter

MILDENHALL Funky Catering Fen Tigers competed in four meetings in four days over the Easter weekend as the tapes rose on the 2009 season.The started and ended with defeat at Kings Lynn and Newport but gained a victory at Rye House and a draw at home versus Kings Lynn.

MILDENHALL Funky Catering Fen Tigers competed in four meetings in four days over the Easter weekend as the tapes rose on the 2009 season.

The started and ended with defeat at Kings Lynn and Newport but gained a victory at Rye House and a draw at home versus Kings Lynn.

The positives from the weekend was the meeting at Rye House and West Row where a big crowd turned out to see the Funky House Catering Fen Tigers launch their home campaign.

Also special mention must go to the two reserves Oliver Rayson and Joe Jacobs who had a stunning 4 meetings and with Barrie Evans slamming in four double figure returns including a five ride maximum at Rye House all auger well for the season for Mildenhall.

The next meeting for the Fen Tigers will be at West Row Sunday 26th April versus the IOW 4pm start.

The club would also like to announce that they will now be at Scunthorpe for a National League Meeting on Saturday May 2nd 6pm brought forward from July.
