The final line-up for Stowmarket’s biggest annual music festival has been announced.
Some of the region’s best covers and original bands will be descending on Chilton Fields on June 23 and 24 for the town’s annual free family music festival, StowFiesta.
This year will see rock band Doctor Victor from the Czech Republic play on Saturday alongside the likes of Suffolk-based bands JS & the Lockerbillies, Lucky Number 7 and Talk of the Town. On Sunday, Italian ska/punk band Manovalanza will be joined by top local acts, including Back Porch, Motherfvnker, and The Blaggers.
David Marsh, events and theatre manager at Stowmarket Town Council said, “As always the live music line-up speaks for itself, but I’m especially proud of the free family entertainment we’ve programmed. We have a massive climbing wall, circus skills workshop, Punch & Judy and a bouncy castle for the little ones, so you’ll be able to spend a few hours soaking up the great music with the family, without having to spend a fortune.”
StowFiesta 2018 is organised by Stowmarket Town Council, sponsored by Total Driving and supported by Suffolk Councty Council and Stowmarket Rugby Club.
The festival was originally launched in 2007 as ‘StowFest’ before evolving into the more family orientated ‘StowFiesta’ in 2014.
