CONSERVATIVES in Suffolk Central & Ipswich North have drawn up a short-list of six for the vacancy caused by the decision of Sir Michael Lord not to seek re-election.
The six are Katy Bourne, Tim Clark, Joanna Gardner, Daniel Poulter, Dominic Schofield and Claire Strong.
An open primary will be held in the constituency on November 27 to choose who should inherit Sir Michael's majority of 7,856.
Sir Michael has been an MP for Suffolk 1983 and is currently a deputy speaker in the House of Commons.
