A caravan fire was attended at the Moon & Sixpence caravan park in Waldringfield this morning.

Crews from Ipswich East and Princes Street were called to the site, on Newbourne Road, just before 9.55am.

A fire was located in the roof area of one of the caravans.

Crews isolated gas and electric supplies and, wearing breathing apparatus, used one hose reel to extinguish the flames.

The fire had been brought under control by 10.40am.
