FIRE crews were called to a town centre shop this morning.
Firefighters attended J Walker Flooring in Union Street West, Stowmarket, at 5.08am. On arrival they found the premises of the family-run business to be heavily smoke-logged.
Shortly before 6am crews from Stowmarket and Needham Market located the fire near the downstairs external door.
The fire is considered to be suspicious and a fire investigation will be carried out later this morning.
