SUFFOLK: Lifeboat crews from Harwich were called to rescue two people after a fire broke out on board a 30ft yacht around two miles off the entrance to the River Ore yesterday.
SUFFOLK: Lifeboat crews from Harwich were called to rescue two people after a fire broke out on board a 30ft yacht around two miles off the entrance to the River Ore yesterday.
Harwich RNLI all-weather lifeboat was sent along with the Harwich Harbour launch to help the pair after they made a mayday distress call at 9.56am.
The fire was put out and the yacht was towed to Shotley Marina.
