Firefighters were called to an address in Ipswich town centre after an elderly woman collapsed.
One fire engine from the Princes Street depot was called to Serenus Court in Silent Street at 8.27am today.
On arrival crews found an elderly woman who had collapsed behind two closed doors which paramedics could not gain entry to.
Fire crews were able to access the building through a window and the incident was handed over to paramedics.
Firefighters stood down from the scene at 8.42am.
