HADLEIGH: Four fire crews are currently tackling a fire in Aldham Road which may have been started deliberately.

They were called to a former garage site just before 2am to tackle the blaze.

Crews from Hadleigh and Princes Street, in Ipswich were initially called but they asked for help to deal with the incident with a further two appliances sent from Princes Street and Nayland.

Police were also at the scene and a spokesman for Suffolk Fire Service said that the fire was “believed to be suspicious”.

The fire is located in a building measuring 50 x 20 metres and firefighters are now working on preventing the blaze from spreading to neighbouring properties.
