Fire crews called to kitchen blaze

A MAN had to be treated for breathing difficulties following a fire at a property in Felixstowe.

A MAN had to be treated for breathing difficulties following a fire at a property in Felixstowe.

Two appliances from the town were called to Blyford Way shortly after 12.30pm today.

One arrival they found a fire in the kitchen of a terraced property and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the blaze by 12.55pm.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire Service said oxygen therapy was given to one male at the scene.
