A MAN was taken to hospital after he was involved in a car crash near Lavenham.
The collision happened between a Jaguar X-Type and a Land Rover Discovery, shortly after 7am this morning, on the A1141, Brent Eleigh Road.
Fire crews from Long Melford and Sudbury removed the roof and side of the Jaguar before releasing the 37-year-old man and leaving him in the care of paramedics.
The man was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds with cuts to his forehead and a possible eye injury.
Police closed the road in both directions, between the High Street junction and the Brent Eleigh Road junction, until 9.10am, while recovery took place.
