Firefighters released two people trapped in their cars following a crash in Frating this morning.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a two vehicle collision on Main Road at 7.07pm.
One fire crew from Brightlingsea attended, along with a crew from Wivenhoe.
Using one set of specialist cutting equipment crews had released both casualties by 7.59pm, who were left in the care of the ambulance service.
