Four fire crews were called to a Lowestoft hotel after a fire broke out overnight.
Crews from Lowestoft and Beccles were called to the Sunrise Inn in Corton Road shortly after 1am to deal with the blaze in a first floor flat.
The crews wore breathing apparatus and used hoses to put out the fire which was also affecting a second floor flat.
Fire crews said there were signs of forced entry to the rear of the building.
The fire was located in a cleaning cupboard on the first floor and had burnt through the floor. The fire was under control by 3am.
