FIREFIGHTERS were called to help rescue a cat from the roof of a Suffolk home yesterday.
The crews from Bury St Edmunds fire station were alerted to the incident by the RSPCA at around 3pm.
A cat had become trapped on the roof of a bungalow in Victoria Close, Thurston.
The crews, which included one turntable ladder from the Bury station, arrived at the scene, rescuing the cat and returning it into the care of the RSPCA by 3.22pm.
