Firefighters were called to rescue a person stranded in a boat in the River Waveney in Puddingmoor, Beccles, this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue was alerted at 2.52am to the person, and sent a fire engine from Beccles as well as water incident and rescue vehicles to help the person.
A water rescue team from Norfolk Fire Service also attended as well as Humber Coastguard.
A coastguard spokesman said the 18ft sailing vessel had lost power and become stranded and that no-one had been injured.
The teams recovered the person and brought the boat to the shore by 3.45am.
