Fire crews extinguished a blaze in a primary school kiln room yesterday afternoon.
Two engines from Braintree were sent to White Court School in Ennerdale Avenue, Great Notley, at 1.06pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to put out the fire by 1.31pm.
