Crews from Princes Street in Ipswich along with the turntable ladder from the town's Colchester Road were called to Aldham, near Hadleigh.

They arrived just before 4.50pm and used chimney rods to extinguish the blaze by 7.30pm.

Meanwhile a crew from Framlingham was called to a property in the town's Victoria Mill Road just after 7.05pm.

They used chimney rods and beaters to extinguish the flames by 8.40pm.
