Fire crews from across the region were pressed into action to deal with a woodland blaze at a town's country park.
Firefighters were alerted just before 1pm on Monday, April 26, to reports of a fire at Brandon Country Park.
A total of 11 crews from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire were pressed into action and used a track off the A1065 between Brandon and Wangford to access the scene.
Upon arrival they discovered an area of woodland "well alight" and worked for several hours to quell the worst of the flames.
While the busy A-road remained open, drivers were advised to avoid the area.

By 4pm, with the blaze largely extinguished, a final few firefighters stayed on site to dampen down while a drone was sent up several times to check for hotspots from above.
Conrad Burgess, station manager at Bury St Edmunds, said no-one had been injured and there were not yet any obvious signs the fire had been started deliberately.
Speaking from the scene, he said: "There's been a fairly significant forest fire and we've had a number of appliances here.
"At the moment the fire is surrounded and we're just applying water and turning it over. We'll probably be here for about another hour.
"There's been no harm to anybody and the cause at the moment is unknown. We'll be trying to establish that.
"The fire itself was called in by somebody who was walking their dog and they haven't reported seeing anything suspicious.
"We've had resources here from three fire services and also Suffolk's drone to give us a bird's eye view of what we've got, which has been really useful.
"We had to bring in pumps from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire because there have been a number of incidents in Suffolk today, including the thatched roof fire in Thwaite this morning."
By around 5pm, the scene was considered safe and firefighters were able to depart.
An investigation to try and establish the cause of the blaze will take place in due course.
