At 5.30pm a crew from Hadleigh were dispatched to Dunton Grove where five square metres of hedgerow had caught light.
The flames were under control and the area declared safe by 7.45pm.
At 6.21pm, firefighters at Princes Street station in Ipswich received a call to reports of a bush fire at Orwell Country Park.
An area of ten by ten metres of undergrowth was alight at the park but the flames were extinguished by 6.41pm.
