FIRE crews from two counties tackled a blaze in a factory unit which took more than an hour to put out.

Emergency services were alerted at just after 7pm tonight to the fire in Wimbledon Avenue, Brandon.

Firefighters from Brandon, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill were joined by Norfolk crews from Thetford and Methwold.

The building measured 30m by 50m and crews worked until 8.41pm to extinguish the flames.
