Emergency services were called to the Orwell Crossing Lorry Park in Nacton this morning after a holiday coach went up in flames following an electrical fault.
The vehicle was on fire for almost an hour, despite Suffolk Fire & Rescue Services being on the scene within four minutes of the initial call at 9:01am.
A spokesperson for the fire service said the blaze involved one passenger coach with nobody inside.
Firefighters gained access to the vehicle at 9:16am using cutting equipment and tackled the fire with two hose reels.
The fire was out and the scene cleared by 9.52am.
Suffolk police were also called to the scene as firefighters were intially concerned the incident may be suspicious.
However it was later concluded that the blaze was caused by an electrical fault in the coach.
