A motorcyclist has been injured in a collision with a car in Essex this evening.
An emergency flying doctor had stopped to help at the scene of the accident, which happened just before 6pm in Mount Pleasant Road, Saffron Walden, and in turn flagged down a passing fire engine.
The firefighters, who were on their way back to base, assisted the doctor until paramedics arrived by providing oxygen to the injured biker, a man, believed to be in his 20s, who is thought to have suffered fractures.
