Firefighters were called to an incident in Bungay this morning after a tree fell on a power line in the town.
UK Power Networks engineers are working to deal with the tree, which came into contact with an overhead line in Flixton Road.
One fire crew from Beccles attended the incident around 10.20am before a vehicle from Bungay took over, according to Suffolk County Council.
A spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said: “UK Power Networks engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to deal with a tree which has come into contact with an overhead line in Flixton Road, Bungay.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused while this work is carried out.”
