Firefighters in Essex have been called to 20 tonnes of straw on fire in Stonebridge Hill, near Halstead.

Fire crews were called shortly before 3.30pm to the blaze, with one crew from Halstead attending.

Two jets were used to extinguish the flames by 4.24pm.

A cause for the fire could not be determined.
