FIREFIGHTERS were called to a pub in a Suffolk town this evening.Crews were called to The Ship Launch Inn on Cliff Road, Ipswich, at 5.06pm following reports of a small fire in a bedroom.

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a pub in a Suffolk town this evening.

Crews were called to The Ship Launch Inn on Cliff Road, Ipswich, at 5.06pm following reports of a small fire in a bedroom.

Landlord Lee Laidler said a stereo had caught fire and the pub will be open for business as normal tomorrow. He added: “It was just mainly smoke damage in the one room.”

The incident was over at 6.06pm.
