Firefighters extinguished a chimney blaze near Hadleigh on Wednesday night.
The incident in Church Lane, Semer, was reported at about 7.45pm.
One crew from Hadleigh was sent to the scene and firefighters used chimney rods and equipment to bring the blaze under control shortly after 8.30pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the damage was confined to the chimney area.
