IPSWICH: Emergency services were called to a chip pan fire in a town flat.
Three fire crews were called to a fire in a first floor flat in Burrell Road, at 8.48pm, yesterday. A spokeswoman from the fire service said that initial reports suggested that someone was inside the building. On arrival the fire had already been extinguished - no one was injured or trapped in the blaze.
