Firefighters called to home following suspected gas leak (Image: Archant)
Two people trapped by their injuries in a car following a crash have been released by fire crews.
The firefighters from Manningtree, Weeley and Colchester were called to the scene on the A120 at Great Bromley at 9pm today.
A vehicle had left the road and gone into an embankment. Specialist cutting gear was used to release the casualties by 10.33pm.
The two people were then placed into the care of the ambulance service.
