A fire crew was called out to help rescue a child who had locked themselves in a bathroom this morning.
Brightlingsea firefighters were sent to The Woodlands in the town at 8.04am.
They took just 17 minutes to answer the call and free the child using small tools.
It is not thought the child was injured in the incident.
