Two people were treated by paramedics after they were hurt in a crash in Colchester this afternoon.
Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were sent to Essex Hall Road near North Station to reports of a crash involving one car at around 2.19pm.
Two fire engines from Colchester helped at the scene using specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof.
Paramedics treated two patients who had been trapped inside the car.
It is not clear how serious their injuries were, and their current condition is not known at this time.
Witnesses said multiple emergency crews were at the scene and a section of the road, close to the roundabout, was blocked.
Traffic was heavy in both directions until approximately 3pm.
