An Ipswich fire crew had to attend an incident in a supermarket car park in Hadleigh.
The crew from Princes Street was sent to the Morrisons store in Calais Street after a car fire was reported at 11.58am.
The local crew was unavailable at the time meaning the Ipswich-based firefighters were sent instead.
One hose reel was used by the crew to extinguish the blaze which was under control by 12.24pm.
