Firefighters helped care for a 77-year-old woman after she fell over and hit her head on the pavement in Essex today.
The crew was flagged down in Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea by a concerned member of the public around 11.15am and asked for support before the arrival of the ambulance service.
The firefighters made the woman comfortable, wrapped her in blankets to keep her warm and gave her first aid to treat her cut on her head.
The victim was left in the care of paramedics.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service crew attending this incident was stationed in Clacton-on-Sea.
