Firefighters rescued six people who were trapped in a lift at an Ipswich car park today.
One fire crew from Princes Street attended the incident at the Suffolk County Council car park in Constantine Road around 12.30pm.
Three of the trapped people had underlying medical conditions and all were rescued within minutes of the call.
A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said: “Suffolk Fire and Rescue attended to a report of six people trapped in a lift at lunchtime today, three of whom had underlying medical conditions.
“A crew was dispatched from Princes Street, rescued the trapped people and was back at the station within 10 minutes.”
