Firefighters were called to a fire in Bramford Road, Ipswich.
The incident was reported just before 8pm where firefighters from Princes Street found on arrival heavy smoke coming from a basement of a four storey building, which was being used as a takeaway.
Another appliance from Ipswich East was also mobilised, with the crews working to extinguish the fire shortly before 9pm.
