Firefighters tackled a boiler blaze at a house near Debenham this afternoon.

Three vehicles attended the incident in School Road, Monk Soham, around 2.40pm and found the home heavily smoke-logged.

Crews, from Saxmundham, Framlingham, and Stradbroke, ascertained that the fire was travelling under the floor and wall cavities.

The fire was extinguished by 3.35pm.

Two people have been killed in a collision on a road near Newmarket.
