Firefighters in Essex were called to a fire in a chalet bungalow in Frinton this morning.

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident, in Elm Tree Close, at 5.25am.

Two crews from Frinton attended the blaze, which was in the airing cupboard.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 6.21am.

A thermal image camera was used to check for any remaining hotspots.
