EMERGENCY services were called to a Stowmarket service station last night following a chemical spillage.
EMERGENCY services were called to a Stowmarket service station last night following a chemical spillage.
Firefighters from Elmswell and Stowmarket went to Tot Hill petrol station on the A14 at 8.50pm where a tanker was leaking a flammable liquid.
The crews armed with foam jets covered the area affected and then put sand down to absorb it.
The Highways Agency and police were also called to help as the petrol station had to be closed while the incident was ongoing. The incident was finished at 10.20pm.
