SIX fire crews are battling a blaze which has engulfed more than 15 acres of crops in flames.
Firefighters from across the county are tackling the fire which broke out at Park Farm, Dyers Lane, Assington, shortly after 1.15pm today.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said that between 15 and 20 acres of crops had been deemed as well alight. The surrounding woodland area is thought to be at treat.
